Phillip Flemming, age 68, of Alliston, Ontario, passed away on May 25, 2013.

Family visitation will be held at 2-4 at W. John Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston, Ontario http://thomasfuneralhome.ca on Tuesday May 28, 2013 with friends and neighbours welcome at a second visitation at 7-9.

There will be a memorial service organized by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers at a time to be announced.

An additional Visitation and Burial will take place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island at 2-5 pm on Friday May 31, 2013 with reception to follow. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hennesey’s Funeral Home.

 

Phil was born in Halifax on September 14, 1944, married to Loretta Flemming. He was married to Ethel Smith Flemming who passed away in 2004. His sister, Joan Redmond passed away May 2, 2013.

Phil worked for the IBEW for 43 years and became District Vice President of Canada in August, 2005. Phil held a prominent career where he developed great friendships and garnered respect and accolades throughout it.

Phil enjoyed golfing and boating but most of all laughing with friends and family. 

Phil is survived by his wife Loretta Flemming, his sons Darren Flemming and Jeff Flemming, his step daughters Holly Clark and Chelsea Clark-Martin, his grandchildren Holly Flemming and Summer Flemming and his brother Clarey Flemming along with many other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name. The family wishes to thank everyone for their well wishes.
